The Chemistry Department at Krishna Sudama Group of institutions embraces the goal of achieving equitable Students excited by Chemistryrepresentation by underrepresented minorities and women on our faculty and staff and within the ranks of our research associates, graduate students, and undergraduate student majors. We recognize that fundamental inequalities are introduced early in the educational process and persist throughout all levels of the Institutions. As a department, we are undertaking specific, concrete actions to enhance racial and gender equity at all levels. We are particularly proud of chemistry outreach activities for students at all stages of learning. We seek to engender an interest in science in younger students by engaging their natural curiosity and wonder with the physical world. Through campus visits and summer research laboratory opportunities, we seek to challenge and inspire older students to pursue careers in the Medical sciences.
